Metallic Foil Flyers

Promitech has a large selection of metallic foil flyers in various sizes and shapes. Our most popular options are Silver or Gold Foil printing, which gives your invitations or marketing materials a high-end appearance without breaking the bank. There are ten different foil printing possibilities to select from, ranging from green to rose gold in colour. It is finished with Matt Soft Touch Lamination, which provides a velvety smooth sensation to the touch.

Metallic Foil Flyers will give them a luxurious feel without the high cost of the material used to produce them. The paper options include 350gsm and 400gsm Silk or a high-quality Uncoated paper, and we put a digital foil right on top of a tactile Matt Soft-Touch laminate to provide a unique tactile experience. A flat layer of foil is applied to the top of the laminate, creating an understated and beautiful look. The cards, which are available in a choice of ten different colors, are ideal for adding a touch of elegance to invitations, marketing materials, and thank you letters. Please keep in mind that foil is only available on one side of the product.

Artwork: Metallic Foil Flyers

The following 2-page PDF file is necessary if you are printing a one-sided document:

The CMYK artwork is on page 1, while the Foil artwork is on page 2. If you are printing a double-sided document with Foil, please send a four-page PDF with the following information:

  • Page 1 of the artwork is the front of the piece.
  • Page 2 is the reverse side of the artwork.
  • Page 3 has the foil artwork for the front of the book.
  • Page 4 is completely blank.

When creating the Foil artwork, be sure to include solid black forms in the exact location where the Foil will be used. Please make sure that the foil artwork is black and does not contain any cyan, magenta, or yellow colors. We recommend that Foil artwork be given as a vector file to achieve the best possible outcome.

Technical Specification: Metallic Foil Flyers

Please keep in mind that registration tolerances for foil applications are about 0.5 mm. The foiling of small text (10pt minimum) or thin lines (1pt minimum) is thus not suggested since proper registration cannot be ensured.

  • Include a 3mm bleed on all edges of the page.
  • Provide the file as a CMYK PDF.
  • Fonts should be outline or embedded.
  • Resolution of 300dpi

Any foiling must be at least 3mm away from the trim edge to be considered legal.

The font size should be at least 10pt, and the line weights should be at least 1pt.

Size

The metallic foil flyers are available in the following sizes:

  • 1/3 A4 (DL),
  • A4

Consumer-requested lamination can also be offered if requested by the customer in advance. We provide Matt Soft Touch lamination for both double-sided and single-sided flyers, as well as other materials. If the buyer prefers not to have the lamination done, the cost will be less.
